Why I love teaching PLS 3rd Learning classes:
Teaching PLS 3rd Learning classes is both exciting and rewarding as I watch other professionals – beginning teachers and veterans – experience epiphanies about their own classrooms. The level of energy is always high, laughter is pervasive, and collaboration among teachers drives the courses. As we explore the course material together through engaging activities, the atmosphere is always positive and supportive as participants share their ideas and best practices and consult with other teachers on their respective grade levels or in their subject areas.
What are students saying about my classes?
"Darlene Volchansky is a top-notch instructor, and that's a rarity particularly in the vacuum of the online classroom. She created a friendly, serious, and thought-provoking environment, and I felt comfortable in the class from day one. She held us accountable for our own learning--something I deeply value in my own classroom work--yet fostered critical thought in all of us. She made learning fun. Keep up the great work, Darlene!" - DeVillez, Chicago, IL
